April 28, 1969 <br /> <br />Public Hearing before Zoning and Planniug Committee April 28, 1969- <br /> <br />Zoning members present - Clyde Russell-Chairman, William SprLnger, <br />Gary Rieman, Bill Pittman~ and Allen Sorteberg. <br /> <br />To~ Board members - Manford Schake-Chairman and Mart~a Gorham. <br /> <br />Purpose is to discuss a snowmobile ordinance and a salvage yard by <br />Richard Barstow, ~ich requires a special use permit. <br /> <br />Discussion by Richard Barstow on why he wants the salvage yard. He <br />will use only a piece of land approximately 2 acres, and it will not' <br />be visible from the road. No more than 30 cars will ever be there <br />at once. The yard would be mader a new big power line, and Will <br />have a 100 year lease. <br /> <br />A petition with 51 n~mes protesting the salvage yard was presented <br />to the Zoning Board. Chairman Schake read the restriction, which <br />would be placed on the salvage yard as a part of special use permit. <br /> <br />Mr Wanstrom proposed an ordir~nce be passed by the Board to fine all <br />un-operative, non licensed cars on private property.
