TO:

FROM:

RE:

DATE:

Ramsey Planning and Zoning Commission

Clayton Berg, Building Official

Planning and Zoning Critique

July 5, 1978

ITEM NO. I PUBLIC HEARING - MEDICAL CLINIC AND PHARMACY 1990 URBAN AREA

This is a required hearing held by the Planning Commission for any develop-
ment in the Urban area.

Mr. Art Braun of the Coon Rapids Clinic and Jerry Green of the Green Realty
are proposing the development of about 13 acres of the Gorham property
located on the southeast corner of T.H. #47 and 153rd Avenue N.W. The pro-
posed development will be stage construction with the clinic and pharmacy
being built initially. Future development will include additional wings
to the clinic as well as other commercial development.

Additional information and reports as required will be available at the
time of the meeting.

In your review of this item, a recommendation as to the cost of an Urban
development permit should be made, as well as recommend approval of the
property subdivision and establish a park fee.

ITEM NO. 2 CRITICAL RIVERS COMPREHENSIVE PLAN

Mr. Dexter Marston will be present to explain briefly the Critical Rivers
Comprehensive Plan. His intent is to merely give an introduction at this
time as planning has not yet proceeded enough to be specific.

ITEM NO. 3 REZONING FOR PHILIP KERSSEN

Mr. Kerssen, 14765 Nowthen Blvd., is requesting rezoning on his property
that would allow him sales of trailers. The present zoning is urban
residential and his request is to rezone to B-1 Business. This should be
probably handled similar to the Gotham property which was rezoned to B-1
Business excluding eating and drinking establishment.

ITEM NO. 4

Just a reminder that the seminar approved by the City Council will be
coming up shortly. Those members planning on attending should submit
their names so a check can be made out for registration.

CRB:sb
