City of k September/October * 2016 OSEY RESIDENT R 1 18th Annual Ramsey Happy Days Festival - Saturday, September 10 Join us for The City of Ramsey's 18th annual hometown festival on Saturday,September 10,across from x the Ramsey Municipal Center on Sunwood Drive,within The COR. +- _ The Ramsey Happy Days Festival is a community celebration,providing a -- da full of family-friendly Y Y Y , entertain- ment to residents and visitors!The fun this year includes food vendors,live music,a parade,activities for kids,fireworks and much more. j Stop by the Taste of Happy Days on Thursday,September 8! The Taste of Happy Days event for adults will feature local food,wine and beer vendors at The Fountains of Ramsey from 6:00-9:00 pm. Tickets may be purchased at the Ramsey Corborn's or Village Bank, or from Ramsey Rotary members. -; On Saturday,September 10,start your day by bringing the whole family to the Happy Days 5K and Youth Fun Run,or join in the Family Bike Tour. Then enjoy a _ — hardy pancake breakfast,hosted in the Alexander Ramsey Room at the Ramsey Munici- pal Center. 5K participants,don't forget to bring your race bib to get your breakfast for free! From face painting to the giant slide and bungee jump,there is fun and activities for kids of all ages! Check out the Car Show,Expos and Happy Days Parade in the after- noon as well. The Event Tent will feature a Kids Talent Show this year,Bingo through- out the evening,and magic and comedy by Jerry Frasier. Country band,Hitchville, takes the main stage starting at 8:30 pm.When the sun goes down,you will want to stick around for the excellent fireworks display to end the day! New to the Happy Days line-up this year,a 9/11 Memorial Golf Tournament will be held on Sunday,September 11, at The Links at Northfork Golf Course,starting at 1:00 pm. A portion of the proceeds from this event will go towards the Minnesota Fire Service Foundation. Most of the Happy Days events are free to the public,thanks to our generous sponsors!
