CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Thc Ramsey City Council conducted a City Council Work Session on Tuesday, June 15, 2004, at <br />the Ramsey Fire Station Number I, 15050 Armstrong Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember Todd Cook <br />Councilmember David Elvig <br />Councilmember Patti Kurak <br />Councilmember A1 Pearson <br />Councilmember Sarah Strommen <br />Councilmember Gerald Zimmerman <br /> <br />Also Prescnt: <br /> <br />City Administrator James E. Norman <br />Assistant City Administrator Heidi Nelson <br />Finance Officer Diana Lund <br />Director of Public Works/Fire Chief Dean Kapler <br />Assistant Director of Public Works Brian Olson <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br />John Feges of RTC <br />Jim Lasher and Jo Ann Olsen of LSA Design <br /> <br />CALLTO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the City Council Work Session to order at 7:10 p.m. <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />Mayor Gamcc noted there will be a discussion regarding appraisals from Trappers Ridge and <br />signs for the Economic Development Golf Tournament added to the agenda. <br /> <br />Thc agenda was approved as amended. <br /> <br />COUNCIl, TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION <br /> <br />1) Ramsey Town Center Structural Parking/Core Area <br /> <br />City Administrator Norman reviewed that on May 12th staff and Council representatives met with <br />representatives of the Ramsey Town Center (RTC) to discuss issues related to the Letter of <br />Credit. An agrcement was reached and construction of the streets in the Town Center began in a <br />matter ol~ days following the meeting. A new discussion item was brought up during the meeting <br />concerning the second structured parking facility in the western portion in the core of the Town <br /> <br />City Council Work Session/June 15, 2004 <br /> Page 1 of 8 <br /> <br /> <br />
