Councilmember Riley introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION HRA #17-01-023 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF RAMSEY TO SELL/ CONVEY 3- <br /> ACRES OF REAL PROPERTY OWNED BY THE CITY OF RAMSEY. <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey, herein referred to as the "City", owns various parcels <br /> throughout the City of Ramsey; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the City received and entered into a formal purchase agreement for the sale <br /> of parcel(s) legally described below, on May 10, 2016, with Lifestyle Properties Inc., a Minnesota <br /> Corporation: <br /> 3 ACRES, OUTLOT A, RAMSEY TOWN CENTER 8th ADDITION PLAT, COUNTY OF <br /> ANOKA, MINNESOTA, PID 28-32-25-21-0030 <br /> WHEREAS, said parcels are will be platted into new parcels: <br /> 3 ACRES, LOTS 1-12, VISTAS AT NORTH COMMONS PLAT, COUNTY OF ANOKA, <br /> MINNESOTA. <br /> WHEREAS, the above described property has been declared by the City of Ramsey as <br /> surplus City owned land, and is no longer needed for current for future City functions, and is <br /> authorized for sale. <br /> WHEREAS, the formal purchase agreement requires a Right-of-Re-Entry Agreement be <br /> recorded at the closing of this land transaction; and, <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA <br /> COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> 1) That the City of Ramsey hereby declares Outlot A surplus City-owned land, and authorized <br /> the property to be sold/ conveyed; and, <br /> 2) That the City of Ramsey hereby approves the sale of Outlot A to Lifestyle Properties Inc. for <br /> a total of$170,000.00 for the development of a twelve (12) residential lots; and, <br /> 3) That the City of Ramsey authorizes and requires a Right-of-Re-Entry Agreement to be <br /> recorded at the closing of this land transaction; and, <br /> 4) That the City of Ramsey herby authorizes either the City Administrator, or the Mayor, to sign <br /> any/all documents necessary to close on the sale Outlot A. <br />
