AGENDA: Ramsey Economic Development Commission <br /> <br />TYPE OF MEETING: Regular Economic Development Commission Meeting <br /> <br />TIME/DATE: 7:30 a.m., Friday, January 29, 1982 <br /> <br />LOCATION: Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. NW, Ramsey, MN 55303 <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />D-2 ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION BUSINESS <br /> <br />1) Organization - The following steps should be executed to organize the <br /> Economic Deveiopment Commission (EDC) as a Council Advisory Commission: <br /> <br />a) <br /> <br />Appointing of a Vice Chairperson - The Council has appointed <br />Mr. Donald Greenberg as Chairperson of the.Ramsey EDC for their <br />first year (1982). However, the ordinance requires that you <br />appoint a Vice Chairperson by motion as setforth in paragraph <br />10.104, subparagraph 1 of the City Ordinance. This is contained <br />in enclosure (D2-a). Accordingly, the following proposed motion <br />is hereby submitted for your consideration: <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner and seconded by <br />Commissioner to appoint <br />as Vice Chairperson of the Ramsey Economic Development <br />Commission for the year 1982. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes <br />Voting no <br /> <br />Establishing Meeting Place, Time and Date for the Ramsey EDC - <br />The Commission will need to establish regular meeting date, <br />time and place in accordance with City Ordinance,- paragraph <br />10.104, subparagraph 2. This is also .contained.in enclosure <br />(D2-a). <br /> <br />c) <br /> <br />Responsibilities of the Commission - The City Council has re- <br />quested that the Commission establish three (3) subcommittees <br />within the EDC. Accordingly, paragraph 10.105 of the City <br />Ordinance which is enclosed as (D2-a) covers the missions of <br />these subcommittees in the broad terms. The following proposed <br />motion is hereby submitted for your consideration in appointing <br />persons to the subcommittees: <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner and seconded by <br />Commissioner to appoint the following <br />persons to each of the following subcommittees of the <br />Ramsey Economic Development Commission: <br /> <br /> <br />
