Attached to the Weekly <br />Update is the 2017 Ramsey EDA Business Expo flyer. <br />•Off -Sale Liquor Sunday Sales. For the first time in Minnesota's history, off -sale liquor sales <br />will be allowed on Sundays. This law becomes effective on July 1, 2017, with the first day of <br />sales, Sunday, July 2. In 2007, the City of Ramsey adopted an ordinance to amend City Code to <br />adopt "state law by reference" with regard to liquor sales. Therefore, the City will be in <br />compliance when this new law becomes effective and no further amendment to the Code is <br />necessary. The Code reads as follows: <br />Sec. 6-3. - Adoption of state law by reference. <br />The provisions of Minn. Stats. Ch. 340A, as they may be amended from time to <br />time, with reference to the definition of terms, conditions of operation, restrictions <br />on consumption, provisions relating to sales, hours of sale, and all other matters <br />pertaining to the retail sale, distribution, and consumption of intoxicating liquor and <br />
