PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Public Works Committee conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, August 26, 2003 <br />at the Ramsey Fire Station Number I, 15050 Armstrong Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Chairperson Gerald Zimmerman <br />Councilmember Todd Cook <br />Councilmember David Elvig <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Assistant City Administrator Heidi Nelson <br />Director of Public Works/Fire Chief Dean Kapler <br />Assistant Director of Public Works Brian Olson <br />City Engineer Steve Jankowski <br />Street Supervisor Grant Riemer <br />Police Chief James Way <br />Councilmember Patti Kurak <br />Councilmember A1 Pearson <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairperson Zimmerman called the regular meeting of the Public Works Committee to order at <br />5:30 p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />There was none. <br /> <br />APPROVAl, OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Councihncmbcr Elvig requested that they discuss the possibility of a sub-zoning district in the <br />Industrial Park and the possibility of additional traffic controls in front of Ramsey Elementary. <br /> <br />COMMITTEE BUSINESS <br /> <br />1) Consider Traffic Control Changes along Riverdale Drive <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski With the connection of Riverdale Drive to Highway 10 at Ramsey <br />Boulevard, this roadway will begin to function more as the collector street for which it was <br />planncd. Additional traffic will also be generated onto this roadway as the townhomes associated <br />with Rivenwick 3rd develop.
