ORDINANCE#17-04 <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> AN AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 117 OF THE CITY CODE,WHICH CHAPTER IS KNOWN AS <br /> ZONING AND SUBDIVISIONS OF THE CITY CODE OF RAMSEY,MINNESOTA <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING MULTIPLE SECTIONS OF THE RAMSEY CITY CODE <br /> RELATING TO IRRIGATION REQUIREMENTS. <br /> The City of Ramsey Ordains: <br /> SECTION 1 AUTHORITY <br /> This ordinance is adopted pursuant to and under the authority of the City Charter of the City of Ramsey. <br /> SECTION 2 AMENDMENTS <br /> Section 117-111.—R-1 Residential(g)(4)is amended as follows and the existing(4)and(5)are renumbered <br /> to(5) and (6): <br /> (4) Irrigation. If a landscape irrigation system is provided, the system shall be equipped with the <br /> following: <br /> a. Technology that inhibits or interrupts operation of the irrigation system during periods of <br /> sufficient moisture(rain sensor). <br /> b. One or more water efficient technologies. This could include, but is not limited to, <br /> WasterSense labeled weather-based irrigation controllers, soil moisture sensors, and/or <br /> evapotranspiration(ET) sensors. <br /> Section 117-112. -R-2 Residential District(e)(6)e. is amended as follows: <br /> e. Irrigation. If a landscape irrigation system is provided, the system shall be equipped with the <br /> following: <br /> 1.
