MINNESOTA A special meeting of the Ramsey City Council was held o~ July 7, 1976, at Ramsey City Hall, 14100 St. Francis Boulevard, Ramsey, MN 55303 Present: Mayor Cox Councilman Gorham Co unci 1 man Mi ckel son Councilwoman Oliphant Councilman Reimann Also Present: Clerk-Treas.' Walker Mro Jack Boarman~ of Cerny Assoc Chief::~f Police Auspos Building Committee members Bob Mueller, Dennis Anderson and John Schutz Meeting called to order by Mayor Cox at 7:45 p.m. The joint participants discussed changing the amount of the bond issue by eliminating some areas of the original design. 8:30 p.m., Mrs. Oliphant left the meeting- to pick up her husband at the a~ rpo rt. It was discussed by the members present to get the bond issue down to under $200,000 and the figure arrived at was $175,000. The Mayor asked each member present if they all agreed on the elimination of certain areas of the building plus the asphalt parking lot and driveway and the landscaping so that the bond issue would be set at $175,000. Motion by Gorham, seconded by Reimann that the City of Ramsey hold a special election on Tuesday, July 27, 1976, to issue $175,000 of General Obligation Bonds for the construction of a municipal center. Roll Call Vote Mayor Cox Aye Councilman Reimann Aye Councilman Gorham Aye Councilman Mickelson Aye Motion carried 4 to O. discussion took place on the newsletter and the signs to be placed on the munJoJpal center site. Mayor Cox and Bob Mueller to write a letter to p~_nted in the C~ty ne~sletter.
