CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a work session on Monday September 24, 2002, at the <br />Ramsey Fire Station Number II, 15050 Armstrong Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Councilmember Susan E. Anderson <br />Councilmember Patti Kurak <br />Councilmember Terry Hendriksen <br />Councilmember Gerald Zimmerman <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator James E. Norman <br />Assistant City Administrator Heidi Nelson <br />Finance Officer Diana Lund <br />Director of Public Works/Fire Chief Dean Kapler <br />Community Development Director Sylvia Frolik <br />Principal Planner Patrick Trudgeon <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Councihnember Zimmerman called the work session of the City Council to order at 6:05 p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />There was none. <br /> <br />WORK SESSION TOPICS <br /> <br />Case #1: Conditional Rezoning/Comprehensive Plan <br /> <br />City Administrator Norman presented a draft Ordinance for Council consideration regarding <br />conditional rezoning. <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich explained that the last time the issue was discussed the discussion <br />focused primarily on conditional comprehensive plan designations. The draft ordinance <br />presented to the Council combined both subjects with the language being almost identical for <br />both conditional rezoning and conditional comprehensive plan designation. Mr. Goodrich stated <br />that he requested comment from the Met Council regarding the conditional comprehensive plan <br /> <br />City Council/September 24, 2002 <br /> Page 1 of 6 <br /> <br /> <br />
