<br />Councilmember Kuzma introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #18-004 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A COMPRHENSIVE PLAN AMENDMENT, <br />CONTINGENT UPON METROPOLITAN COUNCIL APPROVAL, TO CHANGE A <br />LAND USE DESIGNATION AND APPROVING SITE PLAN FOR RAMSEY <br />ELEMENTARY CAMPUS 2. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br />the City of Ramsey (the “City”) has initiated an amendment to the <br />Comprehensive Plan to change the future land use designation from Low Density Residential to <br />rd <br />Public/Quasi Public on the properties generally located south of 173 Avenue NW and east of <br />Nowthen Boulevard and legally described as follows: <br /> <br />nd <br />Lots 2, Block 1 Anoka Hennepin 2 Addition, Anoka County, Minnesota <br /> <br />(the “Subject Property”) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> the City has reviewed the requested site plan and rezoning, contingent upon <br />final approval of the Comprehensive Plan Amendment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> the Ramsey Planning Commission met on January 4, 2018, conducted a <br />public hearing, and considered the Applicant’s request for a Comprehensive Plan Amendment; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br />, on February 27, 2018, the City Council considered the requested <br />Comprehensive Plan Amendment. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> Anderson-Johnson Associates, Inc hereafter referred to as “Developer”, <br />properly applied for site plan approval of the following described property located in the City of <br />Ramsey: <br /> <br />nd <br />Lots 2, Block 1 Anoka Hennepin 2 Addition, Anoka County, Minnesota <br /> <br /> (Subject Property) <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br />, on December 1, 2017, the City held a public open house to review the draft <br />plans and gather public input; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br />, on December 7, 2017, the City received an application and plans from <br />Anderson-Johnson Associates, Inc. for Site Plan Review for Ramsey Elementary Campus 2; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br />, on January 4, 2018, the Planning Commission reviewed the proposed site <br />plan and recommended that the City Council approve said Site Plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br /> , on February 27, 2018, the City Council considered approval of the Site Plan <br />for Ramsey Elementary Campus 2. <br /> <br />
