Councilmember Hendriksen introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #02-01-002 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PARTIAL PAYMENTS NO 2 AND NO 3 TO TMI <br />COATINGS, INC. FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #01-21 (REPAINTING OF WATER <br />TOWER NO 1) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on March 27, 2001, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #01-05- <br />199 awarding the bid for Improvement Project #01-21, Repainting of Water Tower No. 1 in the <br />amount of $77,800.00; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City Engineer Steven Jankowski inspected the completed work; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, partial payment No 2 was submitted and paid by the City absent a <br />supporting resolution on November 28, 2001; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, partial payment No 3 has been submitted and reviewed by the City <br />Engineer and found to be appropriate for payment in the amount of $3,967.50. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment No 2 to TMI Coatings, Inc. for <br />Improvement Project #01-21, Repainting of Water Tower No. 1; and <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That no further payment for partial payment No 2 shall be issued to TMI Coatings, Inc. <br />since it had been previously issued payment on November 28, 2001 in the amount of <br />$30,229.00; and <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment No 3 to TMI Coatings, Inc. for <br />Improvement Project #01-21, in the amount of $3,967.50; and <br /> <br />4) <br /> <br />That the City Council authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form <br />for this payment. <br /> <br />5) <br /> <br />That the total amount of this partial payment No 3 is not included in resolutions <br />approving payment of bills for the month of January, 2002. <br /> <br />6) <br /> <br />That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this <br />resolution. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Zimmerman, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #02-01-002 <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
