Councilmember Hendriksen introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #02-01-003 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PAYMENT TO SAUTER & SONS, INC. FOR <br />MISCELLANEOUS IMPROVEMENTS IN GATEWAY NORTH INDUSTRIAL PARK <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on May 8, 2001, the Ramsey City Council approved awarding the bid to <br />Sauter & Sons in the amount of $40,520.00, for the removal of miscellaneous concrete rubble that <br />was encountered as 143rd Avenue NW was being constructed; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on August 14, 2001 City Engineer Brian Olson inspected the completed work <br />and recommended first partial payment to Sauter & Sons, Inc. for the removal of concrete rubble in <br />the amount of $20,260.00. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, January 8, 2002 City Engineer Brian Olson inspected the completed work and <br />recommended second and final payment to Sauter & Sons, Inc. for the removal of concrete rubble <br />in the amount of $20,260 00; and <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, that: <br /> <br />1. The City Council hereby authorizes payment to Sauter & Sons, Inc for one half of the invoice <br /> for removal of concrete rubble expenses in the amount of $20,260.00 on January 8, 2002. <br /> <br />2. The City Council authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this <br /> payment. <br /> <br />3. That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills <br /> for the month of January 2002. <br /> <br />4. That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be pr6vided a signed copy of this resolution. <br /> <br />The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Zimmerman, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Hendriksen <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br />Councilmember Anderson <br />Councilmember Kurak <br /> <br />And the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />none <br /> <br />And the following abstained: <br /> <br />none <br /> <br /> <br />
