Councilmember Hendriksen introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #02-01-005 RESOLUTION APPROVING 5TM AND FINAL PAYMENT TO MEADOWVALE CONSTRUCTION, INC. FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #99-67, (MISSISSIPPI RIVER STORMWATER SUBDRAINAGE DISTRICT NO. 1) WHEREAS, on April 11, 2000, the Ramsey City Council approved Improvement Project #99-67 (Mississippi River Stormwater Subdrainage District No. 1) as a non-assessment project; and WHEREAS, September 13, 2000, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #00-09-233 awarding the bid for Improvement Project #99-67 to Meadowvale Construction in the amount of $294,128.00; and WHEREAS, City Engineer Steve Jankowski inspected the completed work and recommended 5th and final payment to Meadowvale Construction in the amount of $7,780.01 NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: I. That the City Council hereby authorizes 5th and final payment to Meadowvale Construction for Improvement Project #99-67 in the amount of $7,780.01. 2. That the City Council hereby authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. 3. That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the date of January 8, 2002. 4. That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this resolution. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamec Councilmember Hendriksen Councilmember Zimmerman Councilmember Anderson Councilmember Kurak and the following voted against the same: none RESOLUTION #02-01-005 Page 1 of 2
