Councilmember Anderson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #02-01-015 RESOLUTION APPROVING 3R° PARTIAL PAYMENT TO MAGNEY CONSTRUCTION, INC. FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #00-29 (PUMPHOUSE NO 3) WHEREAS, on October 9, 2001, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #01-10- 379 awarding the bid for Improvement Project #00-29, Pumphouse No 3, to Magney Construction, Inc. in the amount of $495,500.00, and; WHEREAS, City Engineer Brian Olson inspected the completed work and recommended partial payment to Magney Construction, Inc. in the amount of $37,160.20. WHEREAS, City Engineer Brian Olson inspected the completed work and recommended second partial payment to Magney Construction, Inc. in the amount of $91,478.35. WHEREAS, City Engineer Brian Olson inspected the completed work and recommended third partial payment to Magney Construction, Inc. in the amount of $35,354.25. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes 3rd partial payment to Magney Construction, Inc. for Improvement Project #00-29, Pumphouse No 3 project in the amount of $35,354.25 on January 22, 2002. 2) That the City Council authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. 3) That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the month of January 2002. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this resolution.
