We currently have four filings for the Mayor/Council seats <br /> up for election. Filings for Mayor: John LeTourneau and Richard Wulf. Filing for <br /> Councilmember At-Large: Chris Riley. Filing for Councilmember Ward 1: Nadine <br /> Heinrich. Filings close at 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 5. <br /> Public Tree Survey. This summer, the City of Ramsey is attempting to complete a Public Tree <br /> Survey entirely through the assistance of volunteers. In partnership with the University of <br /> Minnesota's Department of Forest Resources, community volunteers will be trained as tree survey <br /> scientists, learning key tree identification skills as well as measuring and condition rating <br /> techniques. There will be two (2) training sessions that need to be attended in order to assist with <br /> this project. Friday,June 1 from 5:30pm to 8:00pm and Saturday,June 2 from 9:00am to 11:30am. <br /> Both trainings will be at the Ramsey Municipal Center. The first session is a `classroom' style <br /> training and the second session will be outdoors, applying your newly learned skills.
