ORDINANCE #19-03 <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> AN AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 117 WHICH IS KNOWN AS THE ZONING AND <br /> SUBDIVISIONS CHAPTER OF THE CITY CODE OF RAMSEY, MINNESOTA. <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 117-1 "DEFINITIONS" OF CHAPTER 117 OF <br /> THE CITY CODE OF RAMSEY,MINNESOTA. <br /> SECTION 1. AUTHORITY <br /> This ordinance is adopted pursuant to and under the authority of the City Charter of the City of <br /> Ramsey. <br /> SECTION 2. AMENDMENT <br /> Sec. 117-1 —Definitions shall be amended by revising the definition of topsoil as follows: <br /> Topsoil means black dirt composed of unconsolidated material, largely undecomposed organic <br /> matter that is a suitable foundation for vegetative growth. The composition of topsoil should <br /> contain no more than thirty-five percent(35%) sand content. <br /> SECTION 3. SUMMARY <br /> The following official summary of Ordinance #19-03 has been approved by the City Council of <br /> the City of Ramsey as clearly informing the public of the intent and effect of the Ordinance. <br /> Ordinance #19-03 amends the definition of topsoil to eliminate the reference to Table 3877-3 <br /> MnDOT Specification 3877C (Premium Topsoil Borrow) and simply specify that the composition <br /> of topsoil should contain no more than thirty-five percent (35%) sand content. <br /> SECTION 4.
