Cotmci hnembcr Cook introduced the fOllo~;ing resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION//05-01-018 RESOLUTION CONSIDERING AUTHORIZATION TO THE HIRING TWO FULL- TIME REGULAR BUILDING iNSPECTORS WHEREAS, two additional full-time, regUlar Building Inspector positions were created in the Community Development DePartment-Building Division as a part of the 2005 budget; and WHEREAS, staff received authorization to recruit for the Building Inspector positions at thc regular meeting of the City COuncil on December 14, 2004; and WHEREAS, staff conducted an:internal recruitment and three applications were received; and WHEREAS, staff condUcted interviews and is recommending hiring two internal candidates for the positions. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ~SOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY(STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the Ramsey City Council confirms the recommendations of the Personnel Committee to do the folloWing Hire Stephen Burnham to the pOsition of Building Inspector at an hourly rate of $21.91, subject to all normal personnel Policies. Mr. Bumham's start date will be January 12, 2005. - and - Hire Scott Jensen to the position of. Building Inspector at an hourly rate of $21.91, subject to all normal personnel policies, Mr. Jenson's start date will be January 13, 2005.
