Cotmci hnember Cook introdUCed the follOwing resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION #05-01-020 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING REASSIGNMENT <br />LEADWORKER POSITION AND PUBLIC WORKS <br />POSITION TO THE UTILITIES DIVISION <br /> <br /> OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />MAINTENANCE WORKER <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, during the 2005 :budget process, staff discussed with Council the re- <br />organization of the Public Works Department to three divisions of Parks, utilities, and Streets; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the re-assignment of two existing positions to the Utilities Division <br />rcpresents the first step in that process; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, staff has revised job descriptions for the three divisions; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an internal recruitment was conducted, three applications were received and <br />interviews were conducted; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, no pay scale adjustments are recommended for these reassignments. <br /> <br />NOW TltEREFORE, BE IT ~REsoLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the recommendation of the <br />Personnel Committee to reassign John Nelson to the position of Public Works Utilities <br />Leadworker and Jerome Dube to the position of Public Works Utilities Maintenance <br />Worker effective 01/12/2005. No pay scale adjustments are recommended. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Elvi g and upon vote being taken thereOn, the following voted in favor: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councihnember Cook <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />Councilmember Jeffrey <br />Councilmember Olson <br />Councilmember Pearson <br />Councihnember Strommen <br /> <br />and thc lbllowing voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br /> <br />
