FINANCE COMMITTEE <br /> C T oFi sEY <br /> ANoKA ,COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Thc Ramsey Finance Committee conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, February 8, 2005, at <br />the Ramsey Fire Station Number I, 15050'ArmStrong Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Chairperson Sarah~ Strommen <br />Councilmember David Elvig <br />Councilmember Mary Jo Olson <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councihnember Todd Cook <br />Councilmember David Jeffrey <br />Councilmember A1 Pearson <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Finance Officer Diana Lund <br />City Administrato~ James Norman <br />Assistant City Administrator Heidi Nelson <br />Director of PUblic Works/Fire Chief Dean Kapler <br />Police Chief Way <br /> <br />CALI~ TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairperson Strommen called the regular meeting of the Finance Committee to order at 6:01 p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />There was none. <br /> <br />COMMITTEE BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: <br /> <br />Presentation re Bonding for Financing Construction for Municipal Center <br />Ramsey Town Center Projects <br /> <br />Paul Donna of Northland Securities provided the~Council with background information on <br />Northland Securities for the benefit of the newlY elected Councilmembers. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated service is very important and Northland Securities has done a good job with <br />scrvicc. <br /> <br />City Administrator Norman noted one of the questions he has heard from Councilmembers is <br />rcgarding the possibility of splitting the projects up individually, rather than lumping them <br />together. The upcoming projects are street improvements, the parking facility and the Municipal <br />Center.
