FINANCE: COMMITTEE <br /> CITY ,OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKACOUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Finance Committee conducted a t~egUlar meeting on Tuesday, December 14, 2004, <br />at the Ramsey Fire Station Number I, 15050 ~strong Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members ?resent: Chairperson iDavidiElvig <br /> Councilmemb6r Gerald Zimmerman <br /> <br />Members Absent: COuncilmember Strommen <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Finance Officer Dihna Lund <br />Director of Public Works/Fire Chief Dean Kapler <br />CommunitY DeVelOpment Director Sylvia Frolik <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairperson Elvig called the regular meeting of the Finance Committee to order at 6:05 p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />There was llOlle. <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />Finance Officer Lund indicated Case No. 17 of:the regular City Council meeting agenda will be <br />discussed as Case No. 5 in the Finance Committ% meeting. <br /> <br />Motion by Councihnember Zimmerman, seconded by Chairperson Elvig, to approve the agenda <br />as amended. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Elvigl and Councilmember Zimmerman. Voting No: <br />None. Absent: CouncilmemberStrommen: <br /> <br />COMMITTEE BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: Review and Adopt 2005 TaxLevy and General Fund Budget <br /> <br />Finance Office Lund stated this is the same information as what was presented at the Truth in <br />Taxation meeting on Monday. The total amount of the levy is $6,035,880. She advised there <br />was SOl~e question as to whether the Mississipp~ River Storm Water Sub Drainage District can <br />continue to be levied because the second phaSe Of the project has not been authorized.
