HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY CITY OF RAMSEY ANOKA COUNTY STATE OF MINNESOTA The Housing and Redevelopment Authority conducted a closed session on Tuesday, January 14, 2014, at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 7550 Sunwood Drive NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. Members Present: Acting Chairperson John LeTourneau Commissioner Jill Johns Commissioner Mark Kuzma Commissioner Chris Riley Commissioner Sarah Strommen Commissioner Jason Tossey Members Absent: Chairperson Randy Backous Also Present: HRA Executive Director Ted LaFrance Deputy Executive Director Timothy Gladhill City Administrator Kurt Ulrich City Engineer Bruce Westby City Attorney Joe Langel CLOSED PORTION 5.02: Discuss Letter of Intent to Purchase Property— Sunwood Drive/Ramsey Boulevard (portions were closed to the public) It was noted that under Minnesota Statutes 13D.05, Sub. 3, the meeting can move into closed session to discuss confidential or non-public appraisal data and acquisition negotiations. The closed session discussion will relate to a letter of intent to purchase property at Sunwood Drive/Ramsey Boulevard for future development. The closed session will be tape recorded and that tape will be maintained for a period of eight years. The closed portion was called to order at 9:27 p.m. A letter of intent to purchase property at Sunwood Drive and Ramsey Boulevard was discussed. Consensus of the HRA was to direct staff to proceed with negotiation of a purchase agreement and development agreement (including design aspects) for the purchase of the property at Sunwood Drive and Ramsey Boulevard for approval at a later date. ADJOURNMENT Motion by Commissioner Riley, seconded by Commissioner Kuzma,to adjourn the closed portion of the Housing and Redevelopment Authority.
