HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> The Housing and Redevelopment Authority conducted a closed session on Tuesday, January 14, <br /> 2014, at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 7550 Sunwood Drive NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> Members Present: Acting Chairperson John LeTourneau <br /> Commissioner Jill Johns <br /> Commissioner Mark Kuzma <br /> Commissioner Chris Riley <br /> Commissioner Sarah Strommen <br /> Commissioner Jason Tossey <br /> Members Absent: Chairperson Randy Backous <br /> Also Present: HRA Executive Director Ted LaFrance <br /> Deputy Executive Director Timothy Gladhill <br /> City Administrator Kurt Ulrich <br /> City Engineer Bruce Westby <br /> City Attorney Joe Langel <br /> CLOSED PORTION <br /> 5.02: Discuss Letter of Intent to Purchase Property— Sunwood Drive/Ramsey Boulevard <br /> (portions were closed to the public) <br /> It was noted that under Minnesota Statutes 13D.05, Sub. 3, the meeting can move into closed <br /> session to discuss confidential or non-public appraisal data and acquisition negotiations. The <br /> closed session discussion will relate to a letter of intent to purchase property at Sunwood <br /> Drive/Ramsey Boulevard for future development. The closed session will be tape recorded and <br /> that tape will be maintained for a period of eight years. <br /> The closed portion was called to order at 9:27 p.m. <br /> A letter of intent to purchase property at Sunwood Drive and Ramsey Boulevard was discussed. <br /> Consensus of the HRA was to direct staff to proceed with negotiation of a purchase agreement and <br /> development agreement (including design aspects) for the purchase of the property at Sunwood <br /> Drive and Ramsey Boulevard for approval at a later date. <br /> ADJOURNMENT <br /> Motion by Commissioner Riley, seconded by Commissioner Kuzma,to adjourn the closed portion <br /> of the Housing and Redevelopment Authority. <br /> Housing and Redevelopment Authority/January 14, 2014 <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br />
