<br />Councilmember Menth introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #20-025 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING UPDATED CODE ENFORCEMENT ACTION PLAN <br />TH <br />FOR 5431 164LANE NW IN THE CITY OF RAMSEY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />the property owner Cynthia Krebs (the “Property Owner”) has an open <br />th <br />code enforcement case on the property generally known as 5431 164 Ln. NW and legally <br />described as follows” <br /> <br />Lot 3, Block 3, Barthels Rum River Acres (“Subject Property”); and <br />WHEREAS, <br />the Subject Property is zoned R-1 Residential (Rural Developing); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />the Subject Property is approximately 1.37 acres in size; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />there are documented City Code violations dating back to 2012, with <br />additional code enforcement cases in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2017, 2018, and 2019 with notices of <br />violation regarding fabric sheds, off-street residential parking, number of vehicles on the property, <br />and outdoor storage of debris; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />the City has most recently opened a case on the subject property for <br />violations related to off-street residential parking, number of vehicles on the property, and outdoor <br />storage of debris); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />the City sent a formal notice of violation on September 20, 2018 for the <br />hoop building on the Subject Property; and <br /> <br />FINDINGS OF FACT <br /> <br />1) The City inspected the property throughout 2019 with inspections occurring on January <br />8, April 2, Aril 17, June 11, June 19, July 17, August 20, October 22, October 29, <br />November 12, November 21, December 3, December 12, and December 17 in an effort to <br />work with the resident as there was gradual progress being made to come into <br />compliance. <br /> <br />2) The resident has removed or accomplished the following in an effort to come into <br />compliance <br /> <br /> <br />a.Removal of deteriorating fabric shed. <br /> <br />b.Cleanup of miscellaneous garden/yard items in the side yard previously stored <br />within the deteriorating fabric shed. <br /> <br />c.Removal of the following vehicles from the property <br /> <br />•White Chevy Blazer – License Plate BXX-808 <br /> <br />•White GMC Safar Van – License Plate 368-MKB <br />RESOLUTION #20-025 <br /> <br />87 <br />Page 1 of 4 <br /> <br />
