<br />Councilmember Heinrich introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #20-015 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING FEASIBILITY REPORT AND CALLING PUBLIC <br />HEARING FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #20-04, PUMA STREET EXTENSION <br />IMPROVEMENTS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />to support future development the City of Ramsey proposes to improve <br />th <br />Puma Street generally between 150 Lane NW and Alpine Drive in 2020 by reconstructing the <br />street and trail and extending municipal utilities; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />benefiting properties are proposed to be assessed for all or a portion of the <br />cost of the improvements, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429, the City Charter, and the <br />City’s adopted Special Assessments Policy. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the proposed improvements, designated as Improvement Project No. 20-04, be <br />referred to the City Engineer for study, and that the City Engineer is instructed to report <br />to the Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as to <br />whether the proposed improvements are necessary, cost-effective, and feasible; whether <br />they should best be made as proposed or in conjunction with some other improvement; <br />the estimated cost of the improvements as recommended; and a description of the <br />methodology used to calculate individual assessments for benefitted properties. <br /> <br />2) A Public Hearing will be held on such improvements on the 10th day of March, 2020 in <br />the Council Chambers of City Hall at 7:00 p.m., and the Clerk shall give mailed and <br />published notice of such hearing and improvements as required by law. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Kuzma, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor LeTourneau <br /> Councilmember Heinrich <br /> Councilmember Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Menth <br /> Councilmember Musgrove <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Specht <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br /> <br />
