• Councilmember Hendriksen introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />• <br />• <br />RESOLUTION #00 -01 -021 <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR TO EXECUTE <br />CHANGE ORDERS RELATING TO THE T.H. #47 STP PROJECT AND RELATED <br />PROJECTS <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey will be the lead agency involved in the T.H. #47 STP <br />and the Sunwood Drive project from Sunny Ponds subdivision to T.H. #47; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey will be installing sanitary sewer and watermain in <br />conjunction with these projects; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey will be entering into a partnership agreement with <br />MnDOT for professional services associated with the construction engineering and inspection of <br />these improvements; and <br />WHEREAS, it may become necessary at times to authorize certain changes in the project <br />as construction progresses; and <br />WHEREAS, some of these changes will need to be authorized in an expeditious manner <br />so as to avoid costs associated with construction delay. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the City Administrator or his designee is hereby authorized to approve such changes as <br />may be necessary to avoid the costs of unreasonable construction delays. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Connolly, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Councilmember Hendriksen <br />Councilmember Connolly <br />Councilmember Anderson <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />None <br />and the following abstained: <br />None <br />
