• <br />• <br />• <br />Councilmember Zimmerman introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #00 -01 -002 <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING PETITION AND CALLING FOR A FEASIBILITY STUDY <br />ON IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #99 -12 (BITUMINOUS PAVING OF IGUANA <br />STREET FROM 153 AVENUE TO 151 LANE) <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey has received a petition for a feasibility study to <br />consider the improvement of bituminous paving of Iguana Street from 153 Avenue to 151 <br />Lane; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Administrator has found the petition to be of the correct percentage <br />of lawful signatures of affected property owners; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Administrator has found the petition to be in accordance with the <br />City Charter and Minnesota Statutes concerning local improvements. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That a certain petition requesting a feasibility study to consider the improvement of <br />bituminous paving of Iguana Street from 153 Avenue to 151 Lane has been filed with the <br />City Council on December 17, 1999. The petition is hereby declared to be signed by the <br />required percentage of affected property owners. This declaration is made in conformity to <br />City of Ramsey Code Section 4.60 and Minnesota Statute Chapter 429. <br />2) That the petition is hereby referred to Steve Jankowski, City Engineer, and he is instructed to <br />prepare a feasibility study to the City Council with all convenient speed, advising the Council <br />in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to the cost of <br />the project to each affected property owner. The City Engineer shall also comment as to <br />whether it should best be done as proposed or in conjunction with some other improvement. <br />3) That the above mentioned project shall hereby be referred to as Improvement Project #99 -12. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Connolly, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Mayer Gamec <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br />Councilmember Connolly <br />Councilmember Anderson <br />Councilmember Hendriksen <br />
