Norman <br />Assistant City Administrator Heidi Nelson <br />Finance Officer Diana Lund <br />Director of Public Works/Fire Chief Dean Kapler <br />HRA Executive Director Sylvia Frolik <br />Community Development Director Patrick Trudgeon <br />Assistant Director of Public Works Brian Olson <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the City Council Work Session to order at 6:00 p.m. <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />ri'he agenda was approved as submitted. <br /> <br />COUNCIL TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION <br /> <br />1) Comprehensive Plan Process / Planning Commission Communication <br /> <br />Councilmember Strommen stated part of the difficulty for the Planning Commission is that the <br />~;urrent Comprehensive Plan is not "cutting the mustard" but there isn't a revised one. She <br />suggested that when Comprehensive Plan amendments come forward, an interim standard is <br />needed that can be used to consider the amendments and make some determination. She noted <br />the Planning Commission has held a debate about their struggle of what to do during this interim <br />period and would like direction and interim standards on which they can consider amendments. <br /> <br />City Council Work Session / March 22, 2005 <br /> Page 1 of 7 <br /> <br /> <br />
