PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Public Works Committee conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, January 18, 2005 <br />at the Ramsey Fire Station Number I, 15050 Armstrong Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Chairperson David Elvig <br />Councilmember Todd Cook <br />Councilmember Mary Jo Olson <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Public Works Director Dean Kapler <br />Assistant Director of Public Works Brian Olson <br />City Engineer Steve Jankowski <br />Street Maintenance Supervisor Grant Riemer <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairperson Elvig called the regular meeting of the Public Works Committee to order at 5:36 <br />p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Wayne Bell, 14336 Waco Street NW, stated that he wanted to address the issue of the proposed <br />median at 142nd Avenue and TH 47. He explained that he had attended the informational meeting <br />held by MnDOT and to him it did not seem as if a lot of thought has been put into the decision to <br />close off intersection with a median. <br /> <br />Chairperson Elvig asked Mr. Bell to save his comments for Case #1. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Chairperson Elvig requested that a Case #A: Appointment of Chair and Vice Chair be added to <br />the agenda. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cook, seconded by Councilmember Olson, to approve the agenda as <br />amended. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
