<br />Councilmember Musgrove introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #21-020 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE REQUEST FOR A HOME OCCUPATION PERMIT <br />TO OPERATE A GENERATOR BUSINESS ON THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 17040 <br />BAUGH STREET NW <br /> <br />RECITALS <br /> <br /> <br />1.The City of Ramsey received an application from Jesse Larson requesting a home <br />occupation permit to operate a generator business on the property generally known as <br />17040 Baugh Street NW and legally described as follows: <br /> <br />THE S 200 FT OF N 1433 FT OF E 416 FT OF E1/2 OF NW1/4 OF SEC 07 TWP 32 <br />RGE 25 (AS MEAS ALG E & N LINES THEREOF); EX RD; SUBJ TO EASE OF <br />REC, Anoka County, Minnesota <br /> <br />(the “Subject Property”) <br /> <br />nd <br /> <br />2.That the City of Ramsey pursued the code enforcement process for 7230 152 Avenue <br />NW for off-street parking violations, and exterior evidence of a home occupation permit <br />including three (3) business signs on the home, and two (2) vans related to the business. <br />Off-street parking violations were resolved immediately. <br /> <br /> <br />3.That on November 11, 2020, Jesse Larson (the “Applicant”), future owner of the Subject <br />Property, submitted an application for a Home Occupation Permit to operate a generator <br />business (the “Home Occupation”) on the Subject Property. <br /> <br /> <br />4.That the City Council reviewed the request on January 12, 2021. <br /> <br /> <br />5.That the Subject Property is zoned R-1 Residential (Rural Developing) and the <br />surrounding parcels are zoned R-1 Residential (Rural Developing). <br /> <br /> <br />6.That the Subject Property is approximately 1.6 acres and is surrounded by lots of similar <br />size. <br /> <br /> <br />7.That the Subject Property is guided for Rural Developing (residential) in the City’s <br />Future Land Use Map. <br /> <br /> <br />8.That the Applicant is in the process of purchasing the dwelling unit on the Subject <br />Property, and will occupy the dwelling while conducting business on the Subject <br />Property. <br /> <br /> <br />9.That the Subject Property includes an approximately 2,400 square foot dwelling unit. <br /> <br /> <br />
