<br />Councilmember Howell introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #21-023 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZING <br />ADVERTISEMENTS FOR BIDS FOR 2021 CRACK SEAL IMPROVEMENTS, <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #21-06 <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br />, the City of Ramsey can most cost-effectively maximize the life of the <br />bituminous pavement on public streets by sealing cracks on an annual basis; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br />, the City of Ramsey adopted a budget for 2021 including $200,000 to crack <br />seal the bituminous pavement on numerous public street segments in support of the City’s <br />Pavement Management Program; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />the City Engineer has prepared plans and specifications for the purpose of <br />advertising bids for a 2021 Crack Seal Improvements project. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) The City Council hereby approves final plans and specifications as prepared by the City <br />Engineer with reference to the 2021 Crack Seal Improvements, Improvement Project <br />#21-06, and authorizes the advertisement of bids for the same improvements. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Specht, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Howell <br /> Councilmember Specht <br /> Councilmember Musgrove <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Woestehoff <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br /> Existing Vacancy <br /> <br />
