Norman <br />Finance Officer Diana Lund <br />Director of Public Works/Fire Chief Dean Kapler <br />Assistant Director of Public Works Brian Olson <br />Associate Planner Megan Wald <br />Associate Planner Amy Geisler <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the City Council Work Session to order at 6:00 p.m. <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />Thc agenda was approved as submitted. <br /> <br />COUNCIL TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION <br /> <br />1) Marigold Pond Sketch Plan <br /> <br />Associate Planner Geisler indicated Oakwood Land Development has submitted a sketch plan to <br />develop 92 single-family lots on 58 acres as part of Marigold Pond. The proposed plat is located <br />north of tim Boy Scout Camp on Highway 47. The sketch plan was reviewed by the Planning <br />Commission at their April 21 ~t meeting. Generally the Planning Commission was happy with the <br />plan. Density transitioning was a major part of the discussion. Staff would like comments and <br />suggestions from the Council regarding the general layout of the proposed sketch plan. <br /> <br />t~ublic Works Director Kapler advised there are a couple of positive things from a public safety <br />aspect.
