ORDINANCE #21-08 <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> AN AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 10 OF THE CITY CODE: <br /> "ANIMALS," <br /> VACATING THE REQUIREMENT OF DOG LICENSING AND REQUIRING <br /> IDENTIFICATION TAGS. ADDING CLARIFYING LANGUAGE TO DANGEROUS <br /> DOGS LIABILITY INSURANCE. <br /> The City of Ramsey ordains: <br /> SECTION 1. PURPOSE <br /> The purpose of this Ordinance is to eliminate the requirement that all dogs in the city be <br /> registered and licensed with the city. This ordinance will also modify language pertaining to <br /> identification tags. Identification tags will be required for all dogs in public spaces. Either <br /> physical tags or microchips are acceptable. Added clarifying language pertaining to dangerous <br /> dogs and liability insurance. <br /> SECTION 2. AUTHORITY <br /> Pursuant to authority granted by Minnesota Statutes, Section 471.633, the City of Ramsey hereby <br /> regulates animals within City limits. <br /> SECTION 3. AMENDMENT TO CITY CODE SECTION 10-57 <br /> (Underline is added language, strikeout is deleted language.) <br /> Sec. 10 57.
