CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Thc Ramsey City Council conducted a City Council Work Session on Tuesday, June 21, 2005, at <br />the Ramsey Fire Station Number 1, 15050 Armstrong Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember Todd Cook <br />Councilmember David Elvig <br />Councilmember David Jeffrey <br />Councilmember Mary Jo Olson <br />Councilmember A1 Pearson <br />Councilmember Sarah Strommen <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator James E. Norman <br />Assistant City Administrator Heidi Nelson <br />Director of Public Works Dean Kapler <br />Assistant Public Works Director Brian Olson <br />Management Intern Jason Schmidt <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamcc called the City Council Work Session to order at 7:21 p.m. <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />Thc agenda was approved as submitted. <br /> <br />COUNCIL TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION <br /> <br />1) Trott Brook Cemetery <br /> <br />Carl I loffstedt and Margaret Twiss of the Trott Brook Cemetery Citizens Committee were <br />present to meet with the Council regarding the cemetery. <br /> <br />Management Intern Schmidt explained over the past year, a citizens committee has been meeting <br />with City staff for the purposes of updating the Trott Brook Cemetery burial inventory and <br />creating a management plan for the cemetery. The City contracted with Hakanson Anderson to <br />update the Trott Brook Cemetery land and plat survey. Hakanson Anderson's survey crew <br />located the grave markers, trees, and other topographic features within the cemetery. Braun <br />Intcrtcc assisted Hakanson Anderson by utilizing ground-penetrating radar to determine accurate <br />burial locations. <br /> <br />City Council Work Session / June 21, 2005 <br /> Page 1 of 7 <br /> <br /> <br />
