ORDINANCE #21-13 CITY OF RAMSEY ' ANOKA COUNTY STATE OF MINNESOTA AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 105-142 (ADOPTION OF 2006 INTERNATIONAL PROPERTY MAINTENANCE CODE), OF CHAPTER 10,ARTICLE V (PROPERTY MAINTENANCE CODE), AND SECTION OF THE CITY CODE OF RAMSEY,MINNESOTA. SECTION 1. AUTHORITY This ordinance is adopted pursuant to and under the authority of the City Charter of the City of Ramsey. SECTION 2. AMENDMENT TO CITY CODE SECTION 105-142 The current City Code Section 105-142 is revised as follows (additions indicated by underline, deletions indicated by strikethrough): Sec. 105-142. —Adopted. The 2006 2021 International Property Maintenance Code,as published by the International Code Council, Inc., is hereby adopted by reference. State Law reference—Adoption by reference, Minn. Stats. § 471.62. SECTION 4. EFFECTIVE DATE This ordinance becomes effective 30 days after its passage and publication, subject to City Charter Section 5.04. SECTION 5. SUMMARY The following official summary of Ordinance #21-13 has been approved by the City Council of the City of Ramsey as clearly informing the public of the intent and effect of the Ordinance. Ordinance #21-13 amends Section 105-142 to adopt current international building and property maintenance standards in the City of Ramsey, while eliminating reference to the previous International Property Maintenance Code. The 2021 International Property Maintenance Code is the current building regulation standards in the City of Ramsey.
