FIRE DEPARTMENT <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Fire Department conducted the monthly officers meeting on Sunday, February 4, <br />2001, at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />OFFICERS PRESENT: <br /> <br />Chief Kapler <br />Assistant Chief Hoxter <br />Assistant Chief Simpson <br />Officer Lemm <br />Officer Sharp <br />Officer Lewandowski <br />Officer Streich <br />Officer Weiss <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chief Kapler called the officers meeting of the Ramsey Fire Department to order at 6:00 p.m. <br />There were no additions to the agenda. <br /> <br />3~he next officer's meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, March 6, 2001, 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Duty officer for February is Officer Sharp. Chief Kapler and Assistant Chief Hoxter will be on <br /> th th nd th <br />vacation February 16 - 24 . Assistant Chief Simpson will be on vacation February 22 - 25 . <br /> <br />SAFETY CONCERNS <br /> <br />· Winter driving reminder, drive carefully, both on the way to the station and on the way to the <br /> scene. <br /> <br />· To keep response time down, there will be a storm page next time there is severe weather. <br /> <br />Alternatives to driving the engine on long icy driveways should be used, such as hooking up <br />to the hydrants and carrying the hose up the driveway. <br /> <br />SOG REVIEW <br /> <br />Officers reviewed the current SOGs and changes were made to the following: <br /> <br />SOG 102 <br />SOG 103 <br />SOG 201 <br />SOG 203 <br />SOG 204 <br />SOG 206 <br />SOG 211 <br />SOG212 <br /> <br />Incident Command <br />Firefighters Responsibilities <br />Vehicle Response Order <br />Unoccupied Alarm Calls <br />Rescue/Personal Injury Accident Response <br />Mutual Aide (Given) <br />Liquid Fuel Spills <br />Code 3 Response <br /> <br /> <br />
