FIRE DEPARTMENT <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramscy Fire Department conducted a regular meeting on Wednesday, February 14, 2001, at <br />thc Ramscy Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />CAI~L TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chicl' Kapler called the regular meeting of the Ramsey Fire Department to order at 7:09 p.m. <br />here were fifteen fire fighters in attendance. There were no additions to the agenda. <br /> <br />q'he Ramsey Fire Department will conduct the regular meetings at Fire Station #2 beginning in <br />March. Training will begin in Station #2 in April. The Department will have training at Station <br /># 1 in the ()rid number months and at Station #2 in the even number months. <br /> <br />Chief~ Kapler and Assistant Chief Hoxter will be on vacation February 15-23~d. <br /> <br />MONTI ILY REPORTS <br /> <br />777/1 <br /> <br />Officer l,cmm reviewed the Training Report. <br /> <br />· January training included an in-house SCBA Search and Rescue drill and SCBA Fit Test, <br /> Tactics instructed by Bruce West and Major Maintenance. <br /> <br />· Officer Lem~n attended the North Suburban Mutual Aid Rapid Intervention Team (RIT) <br /> training. <br /> <br />· February training will include A vs. B Company, a mandatory Hazemat Right to Know and <br /> Fire Alarms. <br /> <br />· March 28"' will be mandatory Agility Testing. <br /> <br />April's mandatory drill will be the North Suburban Mutual Aid RIT training with the hands <br />on portion of RIT training taking place in May. <br /> <br />· Mandatory drills are established by the State (OSHA/NFPA). <br /> <br />· llose testing is mandatory for the Department, not for each firefighter. <br /> <br />· Thc l:irc Ground Operations I01 training was good. <br /> <br /> <br />
