FIRE DEPARTMENT <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Fire Department conducted a regular meeting on Wednesday, June 13, 2001, at <br />Ramsey Fire Station #2, 15050 Armstrong Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />CALL 3'0 ORDER <br /> <br />Chief Kapler called the regular meeting of the Ramsey Fire Department to order at 7:00 p.m. <br />~Ihere were fifteen fire fighters in attendance. There were no additions to the agenda. <br /> <br />MONTHLY REPORTS <br /> <br />7 'RAINING <br /> <br />Otficer t,emm reviewed the Training Report. <br /> <br />· May training included a live burn at Sunfish Lake Boulevard and McKinley Street, RIT <br /> Class~ oom Training, Medical Trauma Emergency and Defensive Driving. <br /> <br />° Thank you to firefighters Karels, Shefveland, Minear and Groezinger for help setting up the <br /> live burn. <br /> <br />· June training includes Pumps Drill, Medical Emergency and Hose Testing. <br /> <br />· Officcr Lemm reviewed the mandatory drills that need make up sessions scheduled. They are <br /> I tazemat, Agility Testing, RIT Classroom, RIT Hands On, and Pump Operation. <br /> <br />MAJOR MAINTENANCE <br /> <br />()fficer Weiss reviewed the Major Maintenance Report. <br /> <br />° Emergency Apparatus repaired the pumps on Engine #1, Tanker #1 and Grass #1. <br /> <br />° Grass # 1 hose was repaired and new carburetor kit installed. A gas leak will be repaired. <br /> <br />· Grass #2 had a carburetor kit installed and the pump repaired. <br /> <br />° Miscellaneous supplies were ordered for both stations. <br /> <br /> King map books were put in both engines. <br /> <br /> <br />
