FIRE DEPARTMENT <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Fire Department conducted the monthly officers meeting on Tuesday, January 1, <br />2002, at Ramsey Fire Station #2, 15050 Armstrong Blvd. NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />OFFICERS PRESENT: <br /> <br />Chief Kapler <br />Assistant Chief Hoxter <br />Assistant Chief Simpson <br />Officer Lemm <br />Officer Lewandowski <br />Officer Streich <br />Officer Weiss <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chief Kapler called the officers meeting of the Ramsey Fire Department to order at 6:10 p.m. <br />An addition to the agenda was discussion of RIT. <br /> <br />Duty officer for January is Officer Sharp; February, Officer Weiss; March, Officer Lemm; April, <br />Officer Streich and May, Officer Lewandowsi. Let ChiefKapler know if changes are necessary. <br /> <br />2002 OFFICER SELECTIONS <br /> <br />Chief Kapler reviewed the officer selection process. The structure will remain the same, <br />however, Training Officer Lemm will become Captain #13. <br /> <br />OFFICERS MEETING <br /> <br />A TMOSPI-IERE <br /> <br />· This is our meeting not the Chief's meeting and should be as productive as possible. <br /> <br />· Kccp it open so everyone can speak up and be part of the discussion. <br /> <br />· Cell phones should be turned off. Handouts will be given at time of discussion to help keep <br /> attention on current discussion. <br /> <br />· Everyone should be given the opportunity to be heard without interruption. Listen to verbal <br /> and non-verbal communication. <br /> <br />· Contidential information should remain so. <br /> <br />· lntbrmation is brought here in rough draft form to be discussed by the group and should <br /> remain in the group until ready to present it to the whole department. <br /> <br /> <br />
