FIRE DEPARTMENT <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Fire Department conducted the monthly officers meeting on Sunday, August 4, <br />2002 at Ramsey Fire Station #2, 15050 Armstrong Blvd. NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />OFFICEP, S PRESENT: <br /> <br />Chief Kapler <br />Officer Lemm <br />Officer Lewandowski <br />Officer Streich <br />Officer Weiss <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chief Kaplcr called the officers meeting of the Ramsey Fire Department to order at 6:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Duty officer for August is Officer Lewandowski; September, Officer Weiss; October, Officer <br />Streich; November, Officer Lemm and December, Officer Lewandowski. <br /> <br />'I he next officers meeting will be determined at a later date. <br /> <br />SAFETY CONCERNS <br /> <br />· Thc speed at which the vehicles travel to an incident is a concern both for prevention of <br /> accidents and equipment maintenance. <br /> <br />· q'h~ SOG on truck response will be reviewed at a business meeting. <br /> <br />STATI()N CLEAN UP <br /> <br />Assistant Chiefs will contact the group. <br /> <br />PATCH <br /> <br />· It will take approximately five weeks for the patch proto-type to be completed. <br /> <br />NEW FIREFIGHTERS <br /> <br />· New lircfighters are doing well both within the Department and in Fire Fighter I. They are <br /> training 1 week night and on Saturday each week. <br /> <br />· When a truck leaves the station firefighters should report how many red dots are on the truck. <br /> Trucks are leaving too soon with too few non-probationary firefighters. <br /> <br /> <br />
