FIRE DEPARTMENT <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />fl'he Ramscy l:ire Department conducted a regular meeting on Wednesday, August 14, 2002, at <br />R amscy [:irc Station #2, 15050 Armstrong Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />(iAI,L TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chief Kaplcr called the regular meeting of the Ramsey Fire Department to order at 7:00 p.m. <br />There were twenty-six firefighters in attendance. There were no additions to the agenda. <br /> <br />~I hc I)cpartment received a $151,098 FEMA Grant. Congratulations Ramsey Fire and thank you <br />to ()l'ficcr Streich for his efforts in writing the grant. The Department will purchase a thermal <br /> <br />imaging camera, mobile SCBA compressor/trailer <br />cquipmel~l. <br /> <br />M ONT! 1LY REPORTS <br /> <br />Chict' Kaplcr reviewed the Training Repo~. <br /> <br />and do a complete change out of SCBA <br /> <br />July training included Safety Camp Graduation, Company A vs. Company B Water Ball and <br />M;~ior Maintenance, at which a lot was accomplished. <br /> <br />August training includes Team Building, which was organized by Firefighter Bob Litke, <br />Auto I~xtrication instructed by Fridley International School and a look at SCBA equipment <br />fi'om various vendors. <br /> <br />September training includes combination of START and Haz Mat Review, Chief's Drill and <br />hands on Pump Training. <br /> <br />AdA.JOI?
