FIRE DEPARTMENT <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramscy Fire Department conducted a regular meeting on Wednesday, August 13, 2003, at <br />Ramsey Fire Station #1, 15050 Armstrong Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chief Kapler called the regular meeting of the Ramsey Fire Department to order at 7:00 p.m. <br />There were eighteen firefighters in attendance. There were no additions to the agenda. <br /> <br />MONTllLY REPORTS <br /> <br />7'RAININ(i <br /> <br />()fficcr l,ccy reviewed the Training Report. <br /> <br />· July training included PAPR/Map Drill and Major Maintenance. <br /> <br />· August training includes Bums Township Map Drill, Emergency Preparedness, RIT with Air <br /> Pacs (use in a non-emergency situation). <br /> <br />MA.JO R M/t INTEN/INCE <br /> <br />Chief Kaplcr reviewed the Major Maintenance Report. <br /> <br />· The leak on Engine #2 was caused by the copper lines wearing through by the pump warmer. <br /> The City Mechanic repaired it and corrected the problem. <br /> <br /> The general condition of the vehicles needs attention. Firefighters are getting lax on cleaning <br /> alter calls. <br /> <br />R/I D IO, WIM GER,%gCBA <br /> <br />Officer Streich reviewed the Radios/Pagers/SCBA Report. <br /> <br />o Chief Kapler's hand held radio is back. <br /> <br />- Thc new bottles have been numbered and labeled 1 - 40. The numbers are towards the stem. <br /> New lbrms will be here on Friday and should start being used rather than the old ones. <br /> <br />· Thc trailer will be here in mid September. <br /> <br /> <br />
