FIRE DEPARTMENT <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Thc Ramsey Fire Department conducted an officers meeting on Sunday, May 3, 1998, at the <br />Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chief Kapler called the officers meeting of the Ramsey Fire Department to order at 6:23 p.m. <br />There were six officers in attendance. The next officers meeting will be Tuesday, June 2, 1998. <br />There was one addition to the agenda, which was the Bike Road-co. <br /> <br />MONTHLY REPORTS <br /> <br />Tom Hoxter reviewed the training objectives. <br /> <br /> Two more training classes have been transferred to the new format. They are Salvage and <br /> Overall; and Fire Ground Tactics. <br /> <br />· Currently Tom is concentrating on the Fire objectives. <br /> <br /> Medics Training is only returning an attendance list for the Medical Classes. We will have <br /> them write the obi ectives and give to us along with the attendance records. <br /> <br />Chief Kapler reviewed the criteria necessary for objectives and training records according to the <br />League of Minnesota Cities seminar he attended. <br /> <br />Ron Lemm reviewed training classes. <br /> <br /> The 2800 training class took place here with some of the fire fighters going to Central <br /> Communications for a tour. Dispatchers at Central Communications would like to observe a <br /> hands-on drill. <br /> <br /> Fire Scene Rescue training will be Wednesday, May 6, 1998. We will video tape this <br /> training. <br /> <br />,~ Fire Fighter Challenge will take place May 27, 1998. <br /> <br /> Ron is working on a form for checking off training as it is accomplished. This form would <br /> he hung on the wall with a picture of the new fire fighters. <br /> <br /> <br />
