FIRE DEPARTMENT <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Fire Department conducted a regular meeting on Wednesday, July 8, 1998, at the <br />Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chief Kepler called the regular meeting of the Ramsey Fire Department to order at 7:00 p.m. <br />There were fifteen people in attendance. There were no additions to the agenda. <br /> <br />The n¢×t officer's meeting will be Tuesday, August 4, 1998, at 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br />MONTHLY REPORTS <br /> <br />TRAINING <br /> <br />· Ron Lemm reviewed the training for the month of June. Training included "Right to Know", <br /> a live burn, and defensive driving. <br /> <br /> July training will include EM Vitals, emergency response, and major maintenance. <br /> <br />· August 5, 1998, is open, please let Ron know of training you would be interested in having. <br /> <br />· Brain Abbott and Carey Schiferli have finished Fire Fighter I. Dave Arneson and Chad <br /> Smith need to sign up for Fire Fighter I. <br /> <br />° A reminder to please be on time for training which begins at 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br />MA./OR MAINTENANCE <br /> <br />· Jet nozzles have been modified; they should be used to see how they are working. <br /> <br />· New batteries were installed for gas monitors. <br /> <br />· Light bulbs were replaced in Tanker Two. <br /> <br /> There is a new lens on the pole in Engine One. <br /> <br />· Rocket' switch in Tanker One is repaired. <br /> <br />· Relief valves have been set at 170 on both trucks. <br /> <br /> <br />
