FIRE DEPARTMENT <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Fire Department conducted a regular meeting on Wednesday, August 12, 1998, at <br />the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />CALI~ TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chief Kapler called the regular meeting of the Ramsey Fire Department to order at 7:46 p.m. <br />There were nineteen people in attendance. An announcement from Jim Sharp was added to the <br />agenda. <br /> <br />The next officer's meeting will be Tuesday, September 1, 1998, at 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br />MONTHLY REPORTS <br /> <br />TRAINING <br /> <br />· Ron Lemm reviewed the training for July. Training included EMS, Vitals, Trauma, Major <br /> Maintenance, and a Chief's drill. <br /> <br />· Training in August will include an extraction, a pump cut away, and part one of a two 'part <br /> class on hydraulics. Testing will be done as part of the drills. <br /> <br />° Brian Abbott is looking for a First Responder class. <br /> <br />° Ron requested the training committee to meet with him to organize a drill with the Police <br /> Department on personal injury and working with the police. <br /> <br />· There will be a State Fire School in Virginia, MN, September 26th and 27th. <br /> <br />MAINTENANCE <br /> <br /> Bob Simpson reported new bulbs are on Tanker Two. <br /> <br />· 7Day crew did a great job on maintenance. <br /> <br /> Paul Minear found the oil leak on Tanker One. <br /> <br /> Tanker One has a quick-fill now. <br /> <br /> <br />
