FIRE DEPARTMENT <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Fire Department conducted the monthly officers meeting on Tuesday, November 2, <br />1999, at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />OFFICERS PRESENT: Chief Kapler <br /> Assistant ChiefHoxter <br /> Officer McLaughlin <br /> Officer Lemm <br /> Officer Weiss <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />ChiefKapler called the officers meeting of the Ramsey Fire Department to order. <br /> <br />The next officer's meeting is scheduled for Sunday, December 5, 1999, at 6:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Duty officers for November are Assistant ChiefHoxter and Officer Sharp. <br /> <br />SAFETY CONCERNS <br /> <br /> If an officer is available, the officer should sit in the Captain's Seat on the way to calls. <br /> <br />· PALS need to be turned on. This should be incorporated into training. <br /> <br /> Winter driving. <br /> <br />STATION #2 UPDATE <br /> <br />· The next detail meeting will be in early December at the time of 60% completion. Assistant <br /> Chief Hoxter reviewed the issues that need to be decided by the meeting. The officers <br /> discussed the issues. <br /> <br />° Staffing needs were discussed. There are currently 30 firefighters in the Department. <br /> Additional personnel needs depends on equipment at each station and how the staff is split <br /> between the stations. <br /> <br />ENGINE #2 UPDATE <br /> <br />· A fhction loss gauge will be placed where the pressure governor was located. <br /> <br /> <br />
