FIRE DEPARTMENT <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Rmnsey Fire Department conducted a regular meeting on Wednesday, November 10, 1999, <br />at thc Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chi¢£ Kepler called the regular meeting of the Ramsey Fire Department to order at 7:00 p.m. <br />There were fi~een fire fighters in attendance. There were no additions to the agenda. <br /> <br />MONTHLY REPORTS <br /> <br />TRAINING <br /> <br />Chief Kapler reviewed the Training Report. <br /> <br />October training included Defensive Driving, Medical Emergencies and Auto Extrication. <br /> <br />Opinions of the training were Medical Emergencies was a good drill and refresher, Auto <br />Extrication had an excellent turnout and showed the Department the need for small tools. <br />Also, the instructor doesn't recommend air bags to stabilize, only to lift. <br /> <br />November training will be Roll Ups, First Truck on the Scene, which went really well, <br />?atient Assessment and a live burn. <br /> <br />Officer Lemm has a calendar list of next year's mandatory drills which include SCBA, <br />Defensive Driving (will be a rodeo type training), CPR Refi'esher, Pump Operations, <br />Hazemat Right to Know, and Blood Borne Pathogens. <br /> <br />MAJOR MAINTENANCE <br /> <br />Chief Kapler reviewed the Major Maintenance Report. <br /> <br />· The Opticon on Engine One is working. <br /> <br />· The Opticon receiver at Armstrong and Highway #10 has been adjusted. <br /> <br />· The foam pro hose on Engine One has been installed. <br /> <br /> The pump pack holders are installed on Grass One, Grass Two needs installation. <br /> <br /> <br />
