FIRE DEPARTMENT <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Fire Department conducted, a regular meeting on Wednesday, December 8, 1999, at <br />the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />(.'ALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chief Kapler called the regular meeting of the Ramsey Fire Department to order at 7:00 p.m. <br />There were sixteen fire fighters in attendance. There were no additions to the agenda. <br /> <br />MONTHLY REPORTS <br /> <br />?'RAINING' <br /> <br />Office Lemm reviewed the Training Report. <br /> <br />Nove~nber 3~a was a Roll Up drill. It was a good exercise in team building. It provided <br />quicker and better ways to get the job done. <br /> <br />· November 17t~' was Patient Assessment. The drill brought everything together and did not <br /> stay on one particular issue, however it went too long. <br /> <br />November 21st was the live burn. The house held up better than expected, a lot of people got <br />through it. The Tech had limited participation on this burn and the next one will be easier. <br />Twenty-nine firefighters were at the live burn, the most ever. The Department will be <br />responsible for the clean up. <br /> <br />December 1 st was an Elevator and Alarm drill at Savannah Oaks. It was informational. Life <br />Fitness and Comfort Suites have the same elevators, so operation would be the same for <br />lowering people down. <br /> <br />December 15th will be a Pediatric/Geriatric drill. Treats will be provided. <br /> <br />· No drill on December 22"a. <br /> <br />· January 8"' the Department will go to Paint Pro. <br /> <br />Firetighter Smith has finished First Responder and Firefighter Groezinger has finished Fire <br />Fighter I and is waiting for the test results of the written portion. February 12th will be the <br />next local First Responder class. <br /> <br /> <br />
