FIRE DEPARTMENT CITY OF RAMSEY ANOKA COUNTY STATE OF MINNESOTA The Ramsey Fire Department conducted a regular meeting on Wednesday, January 12, 2000, at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. CALL TO ORDER Chief Kapler called the regular meeting of the Ramsey Fire Department to order at 7:00 p.m. There were nineteen fire fighters in attendance. Bike Road-eo 2000 was added to the agenda. Minutes are posted each month in the fire station and a copy retained in ChiefKapler's office. MONTItLY REPORTS TRAINJNG Office Lemm reviewed the Training Report. December 1 st was Elevator and Alarms. The Department learned the main stair case does not go to the third floor. Elevators in other buildings in the City will work the same except for Connexus Energy. The keys for the Life Fitness building are now in the key box. · December 15'~' was Pediatrics and Geriatrics Medics training. · January training will be; January 5t~ and lffh EMT and First Responder refresher, January 19~ the test for EMT and First Responder, and the 26t~' Rapid Escape. Saturday January 22"a will be Incident Command training. It will be all day and lunch will be provided. The instructor will be Brace West of Elk River. There is a workbook that needs to be read before the class. · Fh'efighters who have fire or medical training outside of the Department should give certificates of completion to Officer Lemm by next month for the files. . There will be a training committee meeting tonight after the meeting. State Schools information and sign up sheets are in the back comer of the training room. New firefighters and those who have not attended a State School are encouraged to take the Pump class. · Fircfighters Jesse, John and Mike started Fire Fighter One on Saturday, January 8"'.
