FIRE DEPARTMENT <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />q'he Ramscy Fire Department conducted a regular meeting on Wednesday, February 9, 2000, at <br />the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />CAI,Ii TO ORDER <br /> <br />(:bier Kapler called the regular meeting of the Ramsey Fire Department to order at 7:00 p.m. <br />There were seventeen firefighters in attendance. There were no additions to the agenda. <br /> <br />MONTItI~Y REPORTS <br /> <br />? 'R/I IA/lNG <br /> <br />Ofticc Lcmm reviewed the Training Report. <br /> <br />· .lanuary was EMT and First Responder practicals and tests. <br /> <br />· .lammry 22"d was Incident Command, it went well and January 29th was Rapid Escape. <br /> <br />February 5"' & 6"' was Managing Mayday. The five firefighters that went will set up a <br />training sessiou for the Department. The course gave scenios of things gone wrong; many <br />times these are self-caused. It also showed different types of rescues and the need for a rapid <br />intervention team. <br /> <br />· February 12'~' will be Fire Fighter One testing at the station. A pump operator is needed. <br /> <br />· February 16"' will be a CPR Refresher, 8 a.m. - noon and 6:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Thc new truck will be set up for training the week of February 21't. Sign up for a two-hour, <br />bumper to bumper training session. This will take the place of the February 23rd Apparatus, <br />Tool and Truck refi'esher drill. <br /> <br />· Any nexv ideas for a drill let Officer Lemm know. <br /> <br />o Turn in off'site sectional school attendance forms for 1999. <br /> <br />· Six people have signed up for state schools; there is room for four more. Sign up by next <br /> W C C, <br /> <br /> <br />
